About Us
RESTRAW was born out of pure love for our planet. We love our oceans, we love our beaches, we love our rivers, we love our mountains, we love our forests, we love our jungles, and we love all the creatures that inhabit them. What we DON’T love, is plastic. It is a destructive man-made material that pollutes our world more and more every day. One of the most toxic and frivolous plastic items, is single-use plastic straws.
RESTRAW strives to reduce, and hopefully end, the use of plastic straws in South Africa. We aim to educate and engage fellow South Africans to say no to plastic straws (and of course carry their own super awesome RESTRAW with them wherever they go).
